This journey covers approximately 2.000 kilometers and its concentrates in Ecuador’s central territory with visits to the 3 main regions: The Andes, Amazon basin and the Pacific coast. It includes 2 resting days, the first in Tena, where participants will be able to enjoy canoe excursions and jungle strolls. The second rest day will take place during our visit to Cuenca, with its historic downtown that in 1999 was declared Worldwide Heritage by UNESCO. The average riding distance covers a range between 250 km. and 420 km. on its longest stretch.

Day 1

Welcome dinner and safety briefing to discuss trip details.

Day 2

Will ride north on the Pan-American highway, pass by Lake San Pablo, visit Quicocha National Park and Otavalo’s Artisan Market. The group will stay in an old historic hacienda.

Day 3

The groups rides to Tena. This trip offers a diverse types of terrains along with windings roads. We’ll ride through a mountain pass climbing to over 4000 meters to rapidly descent to around 600 meters and start experiencing the Amazon basin.

Day 4

The riders will have a free day in Tena, this is a chance to navigate in canoes through the Napo river and experience excursions in the rain forest.

Day 5

We take our motorcycles around the Amazon basin to Puyo and then Baños on windings roads with beautiful green scenery, along roads that hug rivers present in the area, then get back out to the highlands to ride around Chimborazo Volcano, the tallest in Ecuador with 6,310 meters. Accommodations will be ready for us in Riobamba.

Day 6

We leave Riobamba towards Cuenca riding through the Andes mountains, this riding opportunity offers us beautiful views of the highlands.

Day 7

Rest day in Cuenca. The group will have a chance to visit its historic downtown. This city was declared World Heritage by UNESCO in 1999.

Day 8

Riders get ready to ride through Cajas National Park, perform a mountain pass reaching approximately 4000 meters above sea level and then rapidly descend to around 300 meters. We then proceed to our final daily destination, Montañita, a small surfer’s town in the pacific Coast of Ecuador. This will be our longest riding day covering 420 km.

Day 9

The ninth day brings a short ride through the "Ruta del Sol". Before dawn we’ll reach a great seafood restaurant and visit one of Ecuador's most beautiful beaches in the Machalilla National Park - Los Frailes.

Day 10

The trip continues north on the "Ruta del Sol", an amazing winding road will put our machines to the test while riding along Ecuador's Pacific coast with beautiful water and land scenery until we reach Jama.

Day 11

We head back to Quito, along diverse road terrains that take us back to the Highlands.

Day 12

The group takes a guided tour of Quito’s colonial downtown know for being is the largest colonial historic center in America.

Day 13

The riders will fly back home or take the opportunity to start an optional trip to the Galapagos Islands.
